The wiring harness connects your motor, controller, torque sensor, and display. Damage to any cable in this system can cause error codes, power loss, or intermittent issues. The good news: individual cables can be replaced without replacing the controller or motor.
Runs from the motor at the rear wheel to the controller inside the frame. This cable carries high current and its connectors are the most prone to heat damage.
What to look for: Melted or deformed plastic connector housing, blackened or burned pins, green corrosion on contacts.
Runs from the controller up through the frame to the display, brake inhibitors, and throttle at the handlebars.
What to look for: Loose pins at either end, corroded contacts, frayed wire insulation where the cable exits the frame.
Small cable with a green connector at the rear dropout. Easily damaged during tire changes.
What to look for: Pinched cable near the axle, pulled-out pins, damaged connector housing.
Extension cables are plug-and-play — unplug the old cable, plug in the new one. No soldering or special tools required. Order the specific cable for your model year and bike model to ensure correct connector types and cable length.
