Your display is completely blank and nothing happens when you press the power button. No lights, no beep, nothing.
Is the battery inserted and locked? Push it firmly into the frame until you hear or feel the locking mechanism click. Try removing it completely and reinserting it.
Press the battery level indicator button on the battery itself (not the display). Most Surface 604 batteries have LED indicators directly on the battery pack. If no lights appear, the battery is completely dead — plug it into the charger for at least 30 minutes before trying again.
The display cable connects under the handlebars or at the stem. Follow the cable from the display down to where it connects to the main wiring harness. Unplug and firmly replug this connection.
Follow the cable from the battery down to the controller (usually inside the frame near the bottom bracket). The main power connector — often a yellow XT60 plug — must be fully seated. If this connector worked loose due to vibration, the entire bike loses power.
Use a multimeter to test voltage at the main battery plug. If the battery shows 48V+ but the display doesn't turn on, the display unit or controller may need replacement. Contact support with your test results.
