Changing a flat tire on an eBike is slightly different from a regular bike because of the motor wire and torque sensor connections at the rear wheel. This video walks you through the complete process on the Shred and Quad.
When removing the rear wheel, you must disconnect the torque sensor cable (small green connector at the dropout). When reinstalling, make sure the torque sensor tab sits correctly in the dropout slot and the cable is firmly reconnected. Failure to properly reseat the torque sensor is the #1 cause of 'pedal assist not working after tire change.' See our Pedal Assist After Tire Change troubleshooting guide.
