Simon Nessman has been ranked among the world's highest-earning male models — his face has graced campaigns for Versace, Armani, and Calvin Klein. But his real work happens far from any camera.

Based between Vancouver and Tofino, Simon co-founded the Cedar Coast Field Station — a research organization dedicated to preserving the ecological diversity of Clayoquot Sound. His days involve monitoring remote river systems, studying marine biodiversity, and navigating logging roads that most vehicles can't handle.
